Well today marks my 25th week and over six month mark! It really has gone by very quickly. Those first 16 weeks or so when I was sick everyday and didn't keep down dinner every night it felt like a long time. I just tried to keep in perspective that there is a healthy sweet child at the end of this chapter in my life and it is all worth it! Now looking back I hardly remember those hours spent in the bathroom- thankfully we had recently re-done our bath and it was shiny and new. At 14 weeks I started feeling movement, 16 weeks we found out we were having a girl and 18 weeks Michael felt her move for the first time. Now we can visibly see her move as we watch the belly. It has been a wonderful season of rejoicing and thanking the Lord in advance for a safe timely delivery at the Birth Center. Our prayer is that all goes well there and we don't have to be transferred to the hospital. We both have always wanted a quiet home like setting to bring our children into the world and are blessed to have one of the nations largest only 5 minutes from our home. We had no idea whether or not we would have a baby while living in Pennsylvania and it's funny how the Lord works in such mysterious ways. Below are some pics of us recently. We'll keep you on "belly watch" as she grows. She is currently about 12 inches long and weighs a little over a pound. I've kept my weight gain to 5 pounds so far and the continued yoga and safe exercise I hope will lend itself to a safe expedient delivery! One can prepare, hope and pray and the rest is in His hands.
