16 Weeks Old!

I've grown so much that I can no longer ride in my bassinet so Mommy converted my stroller to the big girl seat and I love being able to see everything as I ride. This is my ladylike pose. Mommy says I look like I'm singing the song from "The Sound of Music"...tea with jam, tea with jam and bread! Enjoy this weeks pictures.

We are so excited that Grammy Pammy and Grandpa Paul now have a computer with internet so they can watch me grow! This is me playing with my alligator on the beautiful quilt they sent me.
LOOOVE my Bebe Pod seat and can't stop spinning the toy!
Daddy loves this picture because it shows how tiny I still am sitting in my little red chair.
Sitting pretty in my big girl stroller and loving my new Nuby teething ring. Not sure if I'm soon to get a tooth but I sure am drooling and chewing on anything I can get to my mouth.

The thumb is on its way into my mouth...

...and now just a minute later I'm asleep

What a comfy ride I had...this is the life!

Fashion Friday

Addie's sailor suit from our sweet neighbors across the street.

Daddy recently helped an older couple in need and they sent this outfit to me as thanks. It was a hot day and he saw an older gentleman waiting for help in the heat and he changed their tire in his suit. They were very grateful.

Wearing my sweet white dress from Mommy & Daddy's dentist Dr. Bob and Sue Flint.

Sleepy Addie after church in her precious flower dress from Karen who works with Mommy. She has a new granddaughter named Grace who is one month older than me.

15 Weeks Old!

I'm 15 weeks old and such a happy baby! I know it looks like I've lost all my baby hair but I still have some on top and lots in the back. You can see it better in the pictures below. I'm laughing and smiling all the time. I haven't let out a long tickling laugh yet, but give lots of chuckles, especially when Mommy sings "Dancing Queen". I think it's just the way she sings it to me and I like when Daddy tickles me- that makes me laugh too. My summer has been great and it is finally cooling off enough to get out more on the great walks with Mommy and Daddy. Enjoy this weeks pictures.

Family photo with Mommy and Daddy. Always wanting to stand up these days.

Sitting like a big girl in my rocker. See video below.

Press play to watch me sitting up in the rocker. I love inspecting my toes- maybe I'll be a podiatrist or perhaps a gymnast with my flexibility. I've been watching the Olympics to get some tips.

Me moving around on the floor. I can do a full 180 and often wake up facing the opposite end in my crib after a nap.

14 Weeks Old!

GO TEAM USA!

I'm enjoying my first Olympics and decided today was the perfect day to wear my American sailor outfit. I loved watching the beautiful opening ceremonies on Friday night. Maybe one day we will get to explore the fascinating country of China. I have a little friend in Tulsa who is from China- Piper. She must love seeing these Olympics. Tonight I talked and talked as I watched diving and gymnastics.

Mommy, Daddy and I on my 14 week birthday!

I like to pull up to standing after a diaper change. I'm getting very tall and have grown 4" since birth. I'm now 24.5" long!

Video of me jabbering away. I'm a little camera shy when it comes to talking so Mommy is going to have to hide a camera to really capture my talking (click play to view video).

13 Weeks Old!

Tomorrow I will be 3 months old and life just gets more exciting every day. I'm grasping onto things and love to play with Mommy's hair and jewelry- as you will see in some of my pictures. We did some exciting things this week and explored new things. Some I slept through since I love to sleep in my stroller, but others I enjoyed by flashing my gummy smile, which appears more and more each day. I even discovered my shy smile this week where I smile at someone then hide my face in Mommy or Daddy's neck.

Longwood Gardens Fountain on the original Dupont estate, located about 30 minutes from our home.

Mommy and me at Longwood Gardens in the Italian Water Garden. It was a pretty day to explore the outdoors. Longwood is the original Dupont family estate and is one of the nation's most famous and beautiful public gardens. It was a great day!

Looking at Mommy's pretty ring. My birthstone was almost diamond but instead it is emerald since I was born in May.

Addison, the big girl, in my Bebe Pod seat. I'm getting to enjoy some of my nice gifts from friends and family as I begin to hold my head on my own.

I've outgrown the infant insert in my Ergo carrier so now I get to ride like a big girl in the carrier. I love looking around at nature on our long walks.
