12 Weeks Old!

How time flies and how much I've grown. I now hold my head up and look all around and when my naps are over I'm always cooing and looking around for who will come get me to play. I'm doing so many new things like pulling up to standing anytime Mommy or Daddy hold my hands and my neck is getting stronger and stronger so soon I will be able to sit in my Bebe pod seat and play in my 'Round we Go' walker. One thing Mommy and Daddy think is cute is I talk to my animals while I'm in my swing. They hang over my head and I look up and talk away.

Fashion Fridays!

Today we're featuring some more cute outfits from friends and family. We love you and hope your summer is great! Thankfully we had some rain the last couple of days which has cooled it off from a stifling 90+ degrees to a cooler mid-80's. We miss our Oklahoma home but not the 100 degree humid summers we were used to. Our favorite is Fall here. The foliage and weather are both beautiful and it is a perfect time of year to visit our nation's birthplace...hint, hint come see us!

11 Weeks Old!

My name is Addison and I'm 11 weeks old! Mommy and Daddy sing this song to me each week as my Happy Birthday song. I am definitely growing up fast and they say how quickly time has already gone by. It was about this time last year that I was formed so miraculously in Mommy and soon they would discover the news that I was on my way! Although it was cozy inside Mommy I'm enjoying exploring and discovering this great new world! Hope you're enjoying discovering it with me.

After my evening meal I enjoy curling up in the Boppy and watching ESPN sports with Daddy...can't wait for the Olympics!

Fashion Fridays

Outfit from family friends, The Lynn's.

Addison has such a beautiful wardrobe that was generously given to her by family and friends so we decided to show you some of the great things she has received with Fashion Fridays! If we left you out we apologize as she has already outgrown some things and some things are still too big for her. She is just now getting into some of her 3-6 month things and even some 0-3 month items are big on her. She is just so long which makes some things grow small more quickly than they would in width. She has been able to wear everything given her thus far and we are most grateful. We love you all and are happy that modern technology allows us to stay in touch via internet. If there is ever a picture you want let us know and we will e-mail it to you or send it to your local Walgreens or Wal-Mart which is a new discovery that Michael's Mom, Grammy Pammy, told us about; where we can send pictures and you can purchase them and pick them up close to your home. This should work out great for our family without internet who don't get to see her as much. Hope you are all staying cool and having wonderful summers.

10 Weeks Old!

I'm 10 weeks old today!!! Mommy can't believe how much I've grown. Last Thursday was my 2 month check-up and I'm 11 lbs. 5 oz. and 23.5" long! I've discovered my hands and I am totally fascinated by them as they are currently the greatest toy besides looking at my doll and other wonders of this great new world in which I live. My head is so much stronger and I love being propped up so I can see things from a different perspective. Above is me sitting in my nursery rocker. 9 Weeks Old!

I'm 9 weeks old and as you can see here all played out. I've been playing more and sleeping less during the day this past week. Mommy worries I'm not sleeping enough but I sleep a good 5-6 hours straight each night and then another 3 or 4 after eating so her worries are gone. I got my first doll this week as you can see in the picture. Her name is Nelly and she came all the way from Germany. Mommy likes the European toys since they are safer and better made than toys from other places (i.e. China) and with Daddy's German roots the Haba toys are now my favorites. The onesie I'm wearing is from Mommy's doula, Heather who has become a friend and one day I will be able to play with her daughter, Avey who is 1. Enjoy the pics!
