Some of you may have visited our first blog- Michael and Kristin- but now that we will soon be three we have made a new home for the Schriks family updates. We look forward to sharing the fun of our new addition and the preparation leading up to her arrival. Yes, it is a she and we can't wait to see her little face this April! Until she comes we will post pics and updates of what we've been up to since moving to Philadelphia. We look forward to hearing from each of you and keeping up with the happenings in your families as well.

Here are some pics from what's been going on this past year or so...

Our house in Ardmore. This was taken in early May so we look forward to taking the baby on walks in the spring when the tulips and cherry tree are blossoming. I planted 100 more bulbs this fall so we should have a wide array this coming spring.

Michael and I backpacking in Italy. This was taken from our hotel balcony in Varenna on Lake Como. I was amazed that I could pack for three weeks in this one bag...2 gallon ziplocs was the trick!

hi sweet children,

we are so very excited for you and miss you both very much. it is great to be able to stay in touch and to be able to hear and see your progress throughout the pregnancy. we know that your precious baby girl will be healthy and beautiful inside and out and will have the same sweet spirit that both of her parents have. our little hope is a constant source of joy for us and i am so blessed to get to take care of her 5 days a week while mommy and daddy are at work. nothing gives me greater joy than to see and hear her smile and coo already. in just the short two weeks that i have been keeping her she has grown so much and there is truly no greater miracle than to witness this special gift from the lord. i can't wait for the two of you, as well as your families to experience this blessed wonder. please know that you are in our constant thoughts and prayers and always remember we are only a phone call away if you should ever need anything.

all our love,
nancy, rudy and all the family
