1 Week Old!

We can hardly believe that a week has past since little Addison entered our world. It has been an amazing week of discovery and growth as a family and through it all we feel rested and have had consistent sleep at night even if it has been only in 2-3 hour intervals. One night it was surprisingly 6 hours straight, although I woke up every 2 hours to see if she was ok or ready to eat. We are truly blessed to have such a sweet little girl. Below are some new pictures of our week old Addison.
This really captures how sweet our little Addison Elizabeth is and although she is still peeling from birth (skin under eyes) she is perfectly beautiful to us.

Welcome Little Addison!!

She is absolutely beautiful and it sounds like you two are doing well. Isn't it amazing how much you can love something so very very much!?! You really cannot describe it to someone who has not had a child. Someone once told us that to have a child is to know what it feels like to live with your heart outside your body and it is so very true!! We found ourselves looking at newly-arrived little Elliot while he was sleeping for hours without getting bored because he was/is so amazing to us. ENJOY HER-- every little smile and coo-- and we hope you are blessed with long naps soon! Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers and we are so very very excited and happy for you! We cannot wait to meet Addison!! In the meantime, please keep us posted!

Michael & Kristen,
Addison Elizabeth is beautiful! I know she is worth every minute that you waited for her to arrive. I'm glad that she arrived safely. Ma is looking forward to meeting her and seeing both of you. She is so excited about her trip to Philadelphia. Please make her take lots of pictures so she can share them with me.

Dear Michael and Kristin,
This note is from all of your mom's friends at St.Margaret's. Congratulations on your beautiful baby! Pam has been glowing since returning from her trip and has shown Addison's photos to all of us.She is a proud grandmother and her visit with you was the high point of the year. She is also a proud mother and over the years her dedication to her children has inspired all of us. God bless both of you and little Addison for bringing happiness into her life.
